For week 4 find four providers that offer free website hosting. Google those terms and see what you find. I know that there are a number of articles that cover free website hosting options. Use one of those to select your four sites. Then just discuss what you find that they do and how do they do it…do they use predefined templates? Do they cost to get rid of advertisements? Find some examples of another site using their services. Click on those examples and compare how fast (or slow) they load up. Why do they act the way that they do (fast because…or slow because….) Make sure you include a statement as to which one of the free sites you would use should you need to create your own website.
Then find an intranet (such as Coke or IBM) and compare what information that they have on their site. Lastly, find an article that discusses considerations, recommendations, or tips that should be followed when launching an intranet. Don’t forget to include your sources in the reference page.
