You are to write a 1 – 2 page paper, double-spaced with standard font and size. Pick a work of art that speaks to you at Wynwood Walls. This can be from anyplace in the area and any work of art, except for performance art. You are to describe the work of art using the following criteria: What is the artist’s name, the name of the work of art, and its creation date? What is the media used? What is the subject matter? What emotions come to the surface when you look at the work of art – how does it make you feel? Why do you think that is, and how did the artist portray that emotion in the work? In your conclusion, summarize your feelings about the excursion and your ability to connect with your chosen work of art. Was it easy or hard? Do you think it is important to experience art in person? Why or why not?
